Stitching in March

Hello friends! First I hope you are all well and staying safe.

I started working on a sweet baby gift for a dear friend who is expecting a sweet boy in May. I’ve started knitting a bunny for my little boy per his request and maybe even an airplane too.

I managed to make a pair of fingerless mitts for a dear friend for hopefully our last cold spell of the year (at least she’ll have them next year!)

Since our schools have closed until at least the end of next week, we’ve been having lots of crafting time. We’ve done lots of coloring, painting and cutting things. I didn’t realize my son’s obsession with scissors until his teacher sent some home😂

We’ve had some beautiful spring days this past week and are seeing the foliage of our plants coming out. It has been such a refreshment for us and it’s been nice to go outside and play. One thing I’ve found myself doing these days is finding be grateful. Even though the circumstances aren’t what I want, I’m taking this time to spend time enjoying the little moments with our family❤

  1. Lots of fun projects going on there. We crafters know how to make the most of free time, huh? These are really different times for all of us. I agree with you and am also being grateful for everything. Be safe and stay healthy.

    1. Yes, I would say we do. People always look at me like I’m bonkers when I tell them they should give needlework a try, that it just might be what they need! Goodness knows i have plenty of projects to keep us all busy 🤷🏻‍♀️. Stay safe and be healthy as well
