Garden Fairies are finished! Freshly washed, dried and pressed. I love the way this piece turned out and even more excited to hang it in our home! I think the best part of the finish was hearing my two babies cheer and clap, they're just as excited as I am.
The last cross stitch has been done and now onto the backstiching and detailing stage. I am loving just how much the backstich adds and now my hubby doesn't have to be creeped out by their "faceless faces".
Happy Fall Ya'll! Our area has begun the fall cool down and has been very enjoyable despite today's dreary forecast. I've personally been enjoying using my crock pot for hearty soups, drinking spiced apple cider and having cozy evenings indoors. It certainly makes me feel less guilty about all the stitching that's been happening in… Continue reading Hello October!

I'm talking big ole crocodile tears, screaming at the top of their lungs, throwing their bodies around with snot running down their face, kind of tantrums. Of course these are usually best performed in public, when mom is in a hurry. Today was… Continue reading Tantrums and ear hats

So without further ado here are my WIPs, I tried to include the links for the patterns. Currently… Continue reading Works in Progress

Some days are smooth sailing, while others you are praying for bedtime to arrive and for there to be no fight. When I was a brand new mom I thought that everything I had was to be given to my son. All my time, energy- EVERYTHING! I… Continue reading Peace Among the Chaos
